Private family succession and wellbeing retreat
Five private days for a family to step away from daily pressure, work through succession and relationship priorities, and restore the energy needed to approach consequential decisions well.
US$100,000 · five days · up to six participants
A considered pause
Succession is rarely only a technical exercise. It touches identity, responsibility, relationships, health, time and the future each family member imagines. The retreat creates a highly supportive environment in which those connected issues can be considered together.
Prima Ordia designs the agenda around the family’s priorities, prepares the workshop content, organises the location and accommodation, and coordinates suitable guest specialists. The aim is not to force a predetermined outcome, but to help the family understand what matters, name the difficult areas and leave with a clearer path.
One integrated programme
Every session is chosen with the family. Quiet time and restorative movement sit around focused workshops so that complex conversations are not compressed into a conventional boardroom schedule.
Active workshops examine ownership, leadership, family roles, decision rights, time horizons and the questions that require legal, tax, investment or governance advice.
Facilitated conversations help surface pain areas, expectations and relationship dynamics with care, structure and respect for individual boundaries.
A calm daily rhythm can include yoga, Pilates, meditation, recovery time and private resort experiences, adapted to the participants’ comfort and preferences.
Illustrative five-day journey
The sequence is a starting point, not a fixed curriculum. Families may give more time to particular issues, reduce formal sessions or invite trusted advisers into selected discussions.
Private arrival, orientation, individual perspectives, family objectives and a gentle wellbeing session.
Assets, structures, responsibilities, current plans, unresolved questions and the family’s different definitions of success.
Focused succession and relationship conversations, with an independent succession specialist or existing adviser joining if the family chooses.
Compare choices, clarify roles, identify decision points and test what each pathway would require.
Document priorities, ownership of actions, adviser briefs and a realistic post-retreat timetable before a restorative close.
Jointly hosted
Frank Brun leads the succession, wealth and strategic workshops. The retreat is hosted jointly with his wife, who leads yoga and Pilates, while meditation may be facilitated by Frank or by both hosts together.
Guest experts are selected around the agenda. The family may nominate its own advisers or ask Prima Ordia to identify an independent succession planner or other specialist. External experts remain responsible for their own professional advice.
Only those necessary to deliver the agreed programme are told the identity of the family. Confidentiality arrangements, secure communication and information boundaries are agreed before substantive material is shared.

Private enquiries
The retreat is offered selectively and is not promoted through paid advertising or referral commissions. A first conversation establishes the family’s objectives, participant group, timing, location preferences and whether the format is appropriate.
